AAAA Record (IPv6 Address Record)

Maps a hostname to an IPv6 address.

Definition

AAAA records (read 'quad-A') map a hostname to an IPv6 address (128-bit, e.g., 2001:db8::1). IPv6 addresses are much longer than IPv4. Most modern services have both A records (IPv4) and AAAA records (IPv6) for dual-stack connectivity. Browsers prefer IPv6 when available. Format: example.com AAAA 2001:db8::1

Use the tool: DNS Lookup — check aaaa record for any domain.
